Group Games is a library of group games for anyone who has to stand in front of a room and run something, plus a planner that turns those games into a timed run sheet your whole team can follow.

What it does

Finds the right game fast. Filter by how many people you have, the youngest and oldest in the room, how long you have got and how much preparation you can manage. A game only appears if it suits everyone in the room, not just some of them.

Plans the whole session. Drop games into a run sheet, add your own items, set a start time, and every item shows the minute it begins. The footer keeps a running total and finish time.

Shows who is running what. Assign each item to a person and the app adds up how long each of them is on their feet, so nobody quietly ends up carrying the session.

The What to bring section, combining the gear from every game on the sheet into one list with quantities

Combines what to bring. One gear list for the whole session, with quantities worked out from your group size. Where two games want the same thing, that is the most you will need at once, not the total.

Shares the plan. Export the sheet as a PDF to print or email, or publish it and pass a six-character code to your co-leaders. They open it without an account and without paying, and their copy updates when you change yours.

Who chose these games

Every game in Group Games was chosen and written up by Calum Henderson, who has spent over twenty years working with kids of all ages: teaching in schools, leading youth group and kids church, and more than 60 holiday camps as a volunteer and on staff.

The library is a hand chosen selection of 139 games, not 1400. Nothing here was generated and nothing was lifted from another site. You do not need to wade through slop. Each of these games works with real kids.

The app is free to download, and all 139 games are free forever, with no ads and no account.

Privacy and support

Almost everything the app holds stays on your device. Only run sheets you deliberately share are uploaded.
